ACNE ON THE FOREHEAD

The forehead is one of the most commonly affected areas of the face. The image that comes to everyone's mind when they think of acne is that of a teenager trying to squeeze the pimples on his forehead with his face practically glued to the mirror. Many adults are also affected by forehead acne and are not sure what to do about it. Forehead acne is often visible and difficult to hide.

WHAT IS ACNE ON THE FOREHEAD RELATED TO?
The forehead is part of the T-zone of the face, which has a high concentration of pilosebaceous follicles and is often affected by acne. One of the first signs of acne is an "oily" and shiny forehead, followed by the appearance of blackheads, whiteheads and red pimples, which vary in number and degree of inflammation depending on the type of acne.

I HAVE ACNE ON MY FOREHEAD, HOW CAN I DEAL WITH IT?
In the case of adult acne blemishes, people often try to hide the lesions any way they can. Women often decide to grow bangs. Men with forehead pimples may start wearing a hat. This should not be done! Sweating and rubbing will irritate the skin and make forehead acne worse. Also avoid hair products that may drip onto the forehead, as many are comedogenic and cause adult acne blemishes on the forehead. In any case, good hygiene care should be gentle. Use a soap-free cleanser suitable for acne-prone skin. Choose a treatment adapted to the type of forehead acne: for oily skin and enlarged pores, choose a mattifying cream and cleansing lotion; for small forehead pimples in teenagers and adults, use a tinted or non-tinted "anti-spot" stick. If you have a significant number and a wide variety of imperfections, apply a comprehensive care product, alone or in combination with medicated treatments.
